If you have a student who will be 5 years old before September 1st you can register your child for Kindergarten at the elementary school that serves your residence. To register for 1st grade, your child must be 6years old before September 1st. To register for Pre-K (VPK) your child must turn 4years old before September 1st.

Proof of residency = mortage or lease papers (signed/dated), Property Tax papers,or homestead exemption card. If you do not have any of these documents you MUST go to the Pupil Assignment office located at the ELC 445 West Amelia St., Orlando. Visit http://pupil.ocps.net to schedule your appointment. Call 407-317-3200 if you need directions.. If you are living with someone else, you MUST obtain a proof of residency form from Pupil Assignment.. Both persons will need to present a current drivers' license showing the same address. The person owning/renting the home must have lease, or mortgate papers and both persons must receive mail at that address.
Has your child attended Voluntary Pre-K this year? If not, your child may be eligible to take advantage of our free VPK program. Applications for our VPK program can be optained in our front office or by visiting the website below. (These are applications and not registrations.) After submitting a completed application, you will be contacted if you are accepted into our program. To obtain an application or see a list of participating VPK school sites, please go to www.ELCOC.org and click on VPK.
